Keto Taco Turkey Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 T cumin
  • 2 cans petite diced tomatoes (or rotel)
  • 1 sleeve of Lono Life chicken bone broth
  • 14 ounces water
  • 1 block of regular cream cheese
Toppings can include jalapenos (although I can't eat them), shredded cheese, avocados, plain greek yogurt

Instructions


  1. Crumble and cook the ground turkey, minced garlic and chopped onion in a skillet until done through. Drain.
  2. Add 3/4 cup of the water and the spices to the meat. Cook for several minutes.
  3. Combine all the ingredients in a pot and heat to a simmer. Continue to simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  4. Top with your "allowed" toppings, but be sure to add them into your count for the day.
